Rehab Training

During Megan’s diploma in massage she worked out that massage was not the only thing to get someone pain free.  She was lucky enough to meet James Barrett from Total Body Fitness on her massage journey, and he taught her all she needed to know about balancing the body with strength training.  She now works with a machine called a Gravity Trainer, which assists the body in proper function in resistance training.  It helps with any injury you have as you can start with low resistance and build up to very functional patterns with greater resistance when required.  Cable machines and Swiss Balls are other tools she loves using.

The body loves to be in balance, meaning that tone exists in both the agonist and antagonist muscles to harmonise every functional pattern of the body, for example, the push and pull movements of the Biceps and Triceps working together.  Megan works to create balance within your body, which in turn creates pain free movement and strength to take on daily activities without pain, while also minimising the risk of injury.
